<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the torque given by a reed vale during low or middle speed operation, and to enhance the torque by an inertial supercharge effect during high speed operation. CONSTITUTION:An enlarged part 1a of an intake-air passage 1 is divided into spaces 1a, 1b by a side surface 3a of a reed valve assembly 3 having an internal space 3b having a section substantially equal to the section of the intake-air passage 1. The reed valve assembly 3 comprises a first control valve 4 which can shut off the internal space 3b, a plurality of reed valves 3c on a side surface upstream thereof, and a second intake control valve 5 on a side downstream thereof.</p> |
