<p>These are described novel pyrrolidine derivatives of the general formula (I) , wherein R1 represents the 2-thienyl group or a phenyl group substituted by a lower tertiary amino group, R2 and R3 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group and R4 represents a phenyl group which may be substituted by halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, nitro or primary, lower secondary or lower tertiary amino, with the proviso that R1 represents a phenyl group substituted by a lower tertiary amino group when R4 represents a phenyl or halo-substituted phenyl group, and acid addition salts thereof which show analgesic activity without being addictive.</p> |
