PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of hemming pictures, color mixing, leakage of latent images, etc., by forming each separate color picture by using a compound photosensitive body, in which two kinds of photoconductive layers having different spectral sensitivities are piled up in layer, and an ordinary photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body P1 is a compound photosensitive body in which the 1st photoconductive layer 2 which does not sense a specific color A and red light and the 2nd photoconductive layer 3 which senses the specific color A and red light are piled up in layer on a electrically conductive basic body 1. The surface of the photoconductive body P1 is uniformly negative-electrified and, secondarily, uniformly positive-electrified with a electrifier and the surface potential is lowered, and then, a two-color picture 6 of red and black is irradiated upon the white ground. At the red colored portion in the original 6, only the negative charege is erased on the layer 3 and the surface potential becomes positive. The white portion becomes 0 (zero). At the black colored portion, an almost equal potential is maintained and the portion is developed by a negative red toner 7 and transferred onto the copying paper. Then, a photosensitive layer 11 which senses red color is provided to photosensitive body P2. It is desirable to provide a photosensitive layer which senses all colors for the layer 11, if possible. The same original 6 is irradiated through a red-pass filter 13 and only the black portion is left with charge, and then, developed in black 14 and transferred onto paper 8. |
