<p>A method is disclosed of manufacturing a deck assembly adapted to be fitted to a production boat. A plurality of strip members, are separated from each other by means of intermediately located spacer members. The strip members are given a longitudinally extending curved configuration mainly corresponding to the deck line of the boat to which the deck assembly is to be fitted. A common supporting member is applied to the outer surface of the strip member, and by means of an adhesive or vulcanisation, for example, the common supporting member is attached to the strip members. Thereafter the spacer members located between the strip members are removed, and the deck assembly is ready to be fitted to a boat.</p> |
