PURPOSE:To hold the toner concentration in a developer constant with simple constitution by changing variation in agitation load with the toner concentration into the deformation of an elastic body and converting it into a shift in the mutual relation of a double shaft, and increasing or decreasing the effective area of a toner falling hole. CONSTITUTION:When it is assumed that the toner concentration of the developer is higher than set toner density, the toner falling hole 5 of an external shaft 3 is closed with the toner falling hole 6 of an internal shaft 4 by setting the relative angle between the toner falling hole 5 of the external shaft 3 and the toner falling hole 6 of the internal shaft 4, so that no toner 2 falls. When the toner concentration decreases, the agitation load of the developer decreases. The variation in the load causes variation in the quantity of deformation of a coil spring 11 which couples the external shaft 3 and internal shaft 4 with each other and the toner fall hole 5 and toner fall hole 6 are set at the same position, so that the toner 2 falls in an agitation case 15 and is mixed with the developer 13. |
