PURPOSE:To prevent the degradation of the wall of a pit by a method in which an excavating liquid is injected into an excavated pit, and the excavating liquid is also sucked up from the tip side of an excavating rod and sent to a mud water plant. CONSTITUTION:An excavator consists of an excavating tower 34 on a skid 32, a power swivel 35, and a rod changer 37 to supply excavating rods in order. The swivel 35 is connected with the first rod 42 having an excavating bit 14 and a stabilizer 15, and rods following the second rod 42 are joined in order by the changer 37 to excavate a pit. An excavating liquid is injected into the pit and also sucked up from the tip side of the rod 42 and sent through a hose 48 to a mud water plant. The degradation of the pit wall can thus be prevented.
