An apparatus for detecting defect of a liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the penetration of a liquid into the liquid crystal panel by connecting a contact pad of an FPC, and test pad of auto/probe. A plurality of LOG wirings(121) is formed on the TFT array substrate having a constant interval. The auto probe part(133) is formed on the array panel. A plurality of test pads(133a) corresponded to a plurality of LOG wirings is included. An FPC part(135) is formed on the array panel. A plurality of touch pads(135a) which is connected to a plurality of LOG wirings and supplies the control signal and driving voltage to the driving IC part(151) from outside is included. A plurality of connection wirings(141) connects a plurality of touch pads of the FPC part and plurality of test pads of the auto probe part.
