COUNTERFEIT BILL IDENTIFIER USING BLUE LIGHT EMITTING DIODE

PURPOSE: A counterfeit bill identifier using blue LED(Light Emitting Diode) is provided to identify whether a bill is counter bill or not by analyzing the wavelength of ultra violet rays after emitting the lights including ultra violet rays through a blue LED and passing only the ultra violet rays among the lights reflected from the bank bill used with fluorescent material. CONSTITUTION: A blue LED(20) emits the lights comprising ultra violet rays if a bank bill(10) is inserted into a bank bill acceptor. A filter part(30) passes only the ultra violet rays and filters the other lights if the lights emitted at the blue LED(20) are reflected by the bank bill(10). A light sensor part(40) detects the strength and wavelength of the ultra violet rays and outputs it to a micro computer(50). The micro computer(50) determines whether the bank bill is counterfeit or genuine.
