PURPOSE: An assembly structure for blower housing is provided to reduce parts count, assembly time and manufacturing cost by extending the lower blower housing and eliminating the upper blower housing. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes an air blower fan;; a driving motor for driving the air blower fan; and an air outlet(40) formed at an indoor unit body(20) so as to discharge the air blown from the air blower. A lower blower housing is extended to the rear surface of a front panel in such a manner that the lower blower housing covers the outer surface of the air blower fan. The lower blower housing covers the outer surface of the air blower fan, the necessity of assembling upper and lower blower housings is eliminated, to thereby reduce assembly time, parts count and manufacturing cost.
