PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair allowing a person to easily move a bed-ridden cared person from a bed to the wheelchair by himself/herself alone. SOLUTION: The wheelchair consists of a wheelchair body and a seat. Left and right armrest members are mounted or integrally formed on the wheelchair body, and the armrest members can be disposed at upper positions above the person lying on the bed or close to the positions.
