PURPOSE:To assign an optional percussion instrument sound to an optional key of a keyboard. CONSTITUTION:The electronic rhythm musical instrument has plural keys of a keyboard 1, plural percussion instrument sound source 14, a RAM 13 having storage areas corresponding to the keys of the keyboard 1, and a means 15B which generates one optional percussion instrument sound name among names corresponding to the respective sound sources 14. In setting mode, the generated percussion instrument sound name is stored in the storage area of the RAM 13 corresponding to an operated key of the keyboard 1 and in performance mode, the sound source 14 corresponding to the percussion instrument sound name in the storage area corresponding to the operated key of the keyboard 1 is controlled. |
