A fluorine compound which has functional groups in a high concentration, can hence have sufficient properties attributable to the functional groups, and is highly transparent in a wide wavelength region. It is a fluorinated diene represented by the following formula (1): CF 2=CFCH2CH(C(R1)(R2)(OH))CH2 CH=CH2 (1) wherein R1 and R2 each independently represents fluorine or C5 or lower fluoroalkyl.
