Provided is a silver organo-sol ink for forming conductive patterns, which has good physical properties and is applicable to the conventional printing method including an ink jet printer. The silver organo-sol ink for forming conductive patterns comprises an effective amount of an aromatic carboxylic acid represented by the following formula(1) and the balance of solvent for dissolving the aromatic carboxylic acid. In the formula(1), R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 each is COO-Ag+, hydrogen, a hydroxyl group, or a C1-9 alkyl group and is identical to or different from one another. The organic solvent comprises a reactive organic solvent which forms a chelating agent or a complex with silver, and a polar or nonpolar dilution solvent for controlling viscosity.
