A method for storing data of an image recording apparatus for a vehicle of the present invention relates to a method for storing data of an image recording apparatus for a vehicle, referred to as a black box system for a vehicle, comprising: a camera module obtaining images; a processor module processing the obtained images; and a portable storage apparatus. The technical feature of the present invention comprises: a partitioned and compressed image data generation step of partitioning image data photographed from the camera module at second time intervals and compressing the partitioned image data through the processor module; and an image data storage step of linking a last frame of the partitioned and compressed image data with the partitioned and compressed image data as original image data and storing the same to the portable storage apparatus. When storing the compressed image data in the portable storage apparatus of the image recording apparatus for a vehicle, original image data are added at a predetermined interval, so a problem of image distortion is able to be solved by using enlargement of stopped images to extract information of vehicle number plates and identifying signals or using the original image data to process histogram equalization, thereby achieving the original purpose of the image recording apparatus for a vehicle of storing event images and obtaining certain information or evidence using the stored images. |
