PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling fan showing high easiness in assembling of a bearing part.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a ceiling fan motor comprising a stationary part, a rotating part, and a bearing part for rotatably supporting the rotating part in respect to the stationary part. The stationary part has a shaft extending in a vertical direction. The rotating part has a cylindrical bearing holder. The bearing part has an upper bearing, a lower bearing, a spacer, and a resilient member. The bearing holder has an upper motion restricting part for restricting an upward motion of the upper bearing. The shaft has a lower motion restricting part for restricting a downward motion of the lower bearing. One of the spacer and the resilient member is positioned between inner races or between outer races in a vertical direction, and the other is positioned between the outer races in a vertical direction. The upper bearing and the lower bearing show that any one of or both fitting of the inner race against the shaft and fitting of the outer race against the bearing holder are clearance fittings. A stopper for limiting a downward motion of the shaft against the rotating part is positioned above or below the bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
