According to the present specification, disclosed are a transformed Synechococcus elongatus strain having an improved acetone producing function, a method for producing acetone by using the same, and a method for controlling carbon dioxide. According to an aspect, the transformed Synechococcus elongatus strain of the present invention can produce acetone at high selectivity by using carbon dioxide as a carbon source. The Synechococcus elongatus strain uses carbon dioxide existing in the atmosphere as a carbon source, so high value0added acetone can be produced and economical feasibility is ensured. Also, additional catalytic reaction is not required, so convenience is ensured. Moreover, by using microorganisms, the Synechococcus elongatus strain can be utilized in removing or reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, so environmentally-friendly properties are ensured. |
