PURPOSE:To correct a toner supplying time converted from a video counted number in accordance with the fluctuation of humidity, etc., and to always supply a proper amount of toner with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:A humidity sensor is set near a developing device 44, and a correction factor corresponding to detected humidity information is decided based on relation between humidity and the correction factor for correcting the fluctuation of the fluidity of the toner as for the humidity which is previously decided in accordance with the component and particle size, etc., of the toner used. In the case of converting the video counted number calculated from a picture element image signal into the toner supplying time, the toner supplying time is decided by multiplying the video counted number in a conversion table, which shows the correspondence of the video counted number to the toner supplying time, provided in a CPU 67 by the correction factor, and the toner is supplied after forming one toner image. |
