Heading G3H. A fluid turbulence amplifier comprises a flat plate A in which channels are formed in the surface and are covered by a plate. An inlet channel C leads from a supply port H to a chamber B which has a channel D leading to an outlet P. Control channels E, F lead into the chamber B such that their axes intersect the common axis of the channels D and C. The chamber B is open to the atmosphere and there may also be a corresponding port in the cover plate. In a modification the chamber is V-shaped having outlets at either side of the receiving channel. A series of such amplifiers may be formed in a block having a common through supply passage. The channels may be cut in the plate or produced by moulding the plate. The dimensions illustrated in the Fig. are in millimeters. |
