<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a transfer of a session with a website to other computer without separately providing an authentication mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A UI providing device 30 receives session identification information, confidential information, and a URL specifying web page data in the web server device related to a session between a web client device 10 and a web server device 20, from the web client device 10, and then sends a request message containing the session identification information and the confidential information to the URL address. The web server device 20 acquires confidential information corresponding to the session identification information in the received request message from a session information management table 24 and compares this confidential information with the confidential information in the request message.
