1516064 Polycarbonate moulding compositions BAYER AG 8 Feb 1977 [18 Jan 1977] 5125/77 Addition to 1490467 Heading C3R A thermoplastic moulding composition comprises an aromatic polycarbonate and from 0À01 to 0À1% by weight, based on the composition, of an ester produced by the partial esterification of an aliphatic alcohol containing 4 to 6 hydroxy groups with a C10-20 saturated, aliphatic monocarboxylic acid or with a mixture of such an acid and a C10-20 polycarboxylic acid. The examples describe compositions comprising (a) a polycarbonate derived from bisphenol A and (b) pentaerythritol tristearate or a partial ester prepared from pentaerythritol, stearic acid and dodecane droic acid. |
