<p>The refrigerator has the compressor and condensing unit, together with the freezer evaporator and the freezing compartment built into the door, the evaporator for the main refrigerator space forming the wall of the freezing compartment. This allows for a more compact construction, since the condenser is now at the front of the unit in direct contact with the air in the room and no provision need be made at the back to allow adequate air passage around it. This implies a notable gain in refrigerator volume in units supplied to modern kitchens with built in units.</p> |
