Triazine derivatives as anti-depressants

Therapeutically active comps. contain as antidepressive constituent a 3- (halophenoxy)-methyl -as-triazine of formula: (where A is an acetamido or amino gp; R is hydrogen or methyl; X is chlorine or bromine and X' is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, or the pharmaceutically active salts). The prepn. of 3- (4-acetamido-3-chlorophenoxy)-methyl -1-methyl-1,4,5,6-tetrahy- dro-as-triazine and other triazines is described.
