Pharmaceutical compositions having central nervous system anti-depressant activity comprise, as active ingredient, a 2,4-diketo-1,3- dimethyl - 1,2,3,4 - tetrahydropyrimidin - 6 - ylurea of the first general formula above, together with a diluent or carrier, and may be administered orally, intravenously or intraperitoneally. |
