<p>Quality control check on quantitative distribution of various radioisotopes in a sample, esp. a nuclear fuel rod, in which individual multichannel spectral measurements are made of the primary gamma radiation and of the photoinduced secondary (X-ray) radiation. The ratios of intensities are calculated for individual corresponding pairs of peaks, one of each type, and the quantitative distribution of the sample determined by comparing the calculated ratios of measured intensities with a number of standard ratios.</p> |
