PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the temperature of a platinum crucible being in a high-temperature state without touching it, when glass beads are produced by high frequency induction heating for the purpose of X-ray fluorescence analysis. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with: a high frequency induction heating apparatus provided with a platinum crucible 5 and a high frequency induction heating coil 4 for heating the platinum crucible 5; a platy ceramic body 9 arranged near the platinum crucible 5 without touching this and excellent in high temperature stability, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance; an irradiation thermometer 8 for measuring the temperature of the ceramic body 9; and a control means for controlling a set power of the high frequency induction heating apparatus on the basis of the temperature output value of the irradiation thermometer 8.
