<p>Mono- and bi-propellants are produced continuously be adding water-insol. solvent for nitrocellulose to aq. suspension of nitrocellulose, with stirring, and opt. adding nitroglycerol, separating resultant emulsion into layer of active substance and aq. layer, removing former continuously and processing further. Technique can be used to make nitrocellulose monopropellant in form of porous, flattened or compact granules or nitrocellulose/nitroglycerol bipropellant in form of small discs or pellets.</p> |
