<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a thermally metal-sprayed product in which both a matte surface based on thermal spraying of metal and bright surface of metal exist and which has an excellent ornamental characteristic by forming a thermally sprayed surface of the metal and bright surface of the metal on a base material. CONSTITUTION:After the surface of the base material 3 consisting of an ABS resin, etc., is cleaned with a solvent, a primer coating layer 4 of an urethane paint is formed to about several tens mum thereon. The metal such as Al is then thermally sprayed by a gas thermally spraying method or arc thermally spraying method, etc., on the layer 4 to form the thermally sprayed layer 5 of the metal. The front surface of the thermally sprayed layer 5 on ornamental lines 2 of the material 3 is thereafter polished by machining such as lathing or buffing to form the specular or hairline bright surface 7a. On the other hand, the thermally sprayed surface 6a of the thermally sprayed layer 5 except the above-mentioned bright surface 7a is held in a sandpapered state. The thermally metal-sprayed product in which both the matte thermally sprayed surface 6a and the bright surface 7a exist and which has varieties over the entire appearance and has an excellent ornamental characteristic is thereby obtd.</p> |
