PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of heat transfer to working gas so as to improve the efficiency of a whole engine by constructing a gas induction pipe in the heating chamber of a stirling engine with a transparent body. CONSTITUTION:A burner 42 is arranged in the inside of a chamber 41 provided at the top of a stirling engine allowing the wall 41 of the chamber to be heated up to a state of red-hot condition while combustion gas passes through thereto. On the other hand, a radiation heat receiving body 39 which is composed of working gas in a high temperature chamber 40 in a cylinder 30, receives radiation heat from the wall 41 of the chamber for being directly and uniformly heated because a wall 33 is constructed with a transparent body. In a heater 36, heating is performed by radiation heat in a similar manner.
