Apparatus for programming the decoder of a point matrix display of an elevator floor level indicator is simple and reduces design costs and comprises a symbol matrix corresponding to the matrix display, with the aid of which a desired symbol can be formed, switches for selecting the desired symbol decoder memory address, programming logic for placing the memory circuit in the point matrix display decoder in a write mode and a parallel interface for transferring the image information contained in the symbol matrix to the memory circuit in parallel mode. |
