PURPOSE:To make a timing pulse for fuel injection timing securable without installing a special device there, by limiting suction pipe pressure detecting signal out of a pressure sensor to an AC component alone, and detecting an AC waveform. CONSTITUTION:A suction pipe pressure detecting signal out of a pressure sensor 5 is inputted into an AC component separator 7 in the state that a noise is cut by a noise filter 6, whereby a DC portion is cut and it is limited to the waveform of an AC component alone. This AC waveform is shaped in a square wave at a Schmitt trigger circuit 8 and inputted into an engine control computer 10. Here, a rising point of the square wave to be varied from low to high is set down to fuel injection timing or the criterion..With this constitution, a timing pulse for the fuel injection timing is securable properly and easily at 180 deg. or 360 deg. of the crank angle of an engine 2.
