PURPOSE:To improve printing efficiency by causing the carrying hole of a cartridge case that fits into a boss of a type wheel to incline from a front direction opposed to a printing ribbon to a back direction. CONSTITUTION:At the near center of a front cover 2 on a cartridge case 1, the slightly inclined carrying hole 7 from a front direction to a back direction that carries a type wheel 6 in freely rotatable fashion through engagement with a boss 4 of the type wheel 6 is bored. The type wheel 6 is provided with an annular type part 5 on one side of a tip of isolated pieces radially formed from the boss 4 extruded in one direction. The type part 5 is always supported in an inclined state in a direction in which the type part 5 is separated from the position of a printing ribbon 17. Therefore, even when the type part 5 is deformed in the direction of platen 14 by the several hammering actions of a printing hammer, the type part 5 is not caught by the printing ribbon 17.
