<p>PURPOSE:To detect breakdown of a water supply/discharge pipe prior to com plete breakdown thereof by adhering an electrical insulating outer layer pipe partially to the outer circumference of an electrical insulating inner layer pipe and arranging a leak water detecting wire and a water absorbing member between them. CONSTITUTION:When inner and outer layer pipes 1, 2 are normal, water does not intrude into an interface layer 3 and a pair of leak water detecting wires 4a, 4b are not conducted. When any one of them is cracked, water flowing through the inner layer pipe 1 or water in the external environment intrudes through the crack into a non-adhered section 7 of the interface layer 3 and reaches to the pair of leak water detecting wires 4a. 4b thus conducting the leak water detecting wires 4a, 4b.</p> |
