Securing base for surface vegetation - uses concrete of high pore volume poured on site in garden or on roof

Concrete of high pore volume is poured on site. This forms a base for a layer of vegetation or individual plants greening over a covering structure in a garden, landscape or sports ground, or a roof. The concrete can be poured in a layer, or in a block round the roots of an individual plant. The large-volume pores can be formed by mixing a foam-forming agent in with the liquid concrete, or a separate layer of foam below the latter.
