<p>PURPOSE:To safely apply a stable AC magnetic field to the tooth of hypersensitive dentin without making the patient uncomfortable by providing a pair of rotors each of which is provided with permanent magnets, and a rotating mechanism for the rotors, and rotating each of the rotors with the tooth sandwiched between them, and applying the AC magnetic field to the tooth. CONSTITUTION:A treatment device 10 is sandwiched between upper and lower tooth T, T' in such a manner than the tooth T to be subjected to treatment is sandwiched between rotors 1a, 1b; then each of the rotors 1a, 1b is rotated by a drive mechanism. Then, permanent magnets 11a, 11a, 11b, 11b provided to the respective rotors 1a, 1b are also rotated and such an AC magnetic field as indicated by the arrow is applied to the tooth T to be subjected to treatment. The treatment device is of small constitution and has the permanent magnets so disposed as to sandwich the subject tooth between them and so the permanent magnets can be brought very near to the subject tooth and an AC magnetic field large enough to have a curing effect can be applied to the tooth.</p> |
