<p>PURPOSE: To drive a tape without buckling by advancing the tape containing a matrix of a polymer resin, pressing the tape on a surface, heating the tape before the pressing stage, and applying a tension to the tap between a supply side and the stage. CONSTITUTION: At the time of moving a frame 12, a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin organic polymer resin tape 14 is drawn from a roll 16 at a mandrel 18 against a tension of the desired level applied by a magnetic clutch associated with the mandrel 18. The tape 14 is passed via a knife 20 under tension, advanced under a retainer 24 via a heater 22, and the retainer 24 presses the tape 14 at a top of a work surface 11 of a top of a partly assembled composite structure. The tape is passed via the knife 20, and heat is applied to the tape and a laid work surface immediately before a position of the retainer 24 according to a route to the hot air heating system 22. The tape is pressed to the work surface by using the retainer, and its rear sheet is released from the laid tape by a winding roll 26.</p> |
