The controller has a position sensor with an analogue-digital converter signalling to a programmed microcomputer with a comparator. The calculated error E is passed as an input signal to a proportional gain block, with K=f (1/E). Saturation is based on E equal to or greater than Eo, with K as the gain and Eo as the preset error value. A digital-anologue converter and an amplifier actuate a guide for the mobile element.
