<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin tube with excellent compressive force in a diametral direction and a torsion force in a peripheral direction by forming a skin of fiber-reinforced synthetic resin over the outer surface of a bundle of tapered fiber-reinforced synthetic resin tubes coming into contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A skin 2 consisting of a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin is formed on the outer surface of a bundle of tapered fiber-reinforced synthetic resin the tubes 3 (composed of an epoxy resin or phenol resin as the synthetic resin and a carbon fiber or glass fiber as the reinforcing fiber) coming into contact with each other. This fiber-reinforced synthetic resin tube 1 is a cylindrical tube whose outer diameter contracts uniformly to one end. The degree of a diametral contraction of the outer shape into one direction of the tube axial line should preferably be 6/1000 to 7/1000. In addition, the number of fine tubes should preferably be 4 to 10. In the case of a golf club shaft, it should preferably be tapered, and the degree of the taper should preferably by 7/1000 to 9/1000.</p> |
