The flooring has two sections placed on top of each. The upper section is rigid (1) the lower section (3) is the shock absorber and is made of a flat or corrugated, flexible, elastic material, such as rubber or other synthetic materials which are sufficiently elastic. The upper surface has a rigid underside which has a series of laths (12) with a convex lower surface. When there is no load on the floor the laths ensure that there is linear contact between the sections, when the load is progressively increased, the area in contact with the lower surface progressively increases. |
