PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding portable terminal which can be used with its antenna off from a user's body without deteriorating its external appearance and portability. SOLUTION: A folding portable terminal is equipped with a first case 20 and a second case 30 which are linked together in a freely rotatable manner so as to pivot on a pivotal shaft 50 to be put, in a close state in which the cases 20 and 30 are kept overlapping with each other or in an open state in which the cases 20 and 30 are kept apart from each other, a first pivotal member 51 which is arranged on the same axis with the pivotal shaft 50 and pivots together with the first case 20, an antenna member 40 which is provided in a freely rotatable manner so as to pivot on its base 42 to be put in a contained state in which is extends along the second case 30 or in a protruding state in which its tip 43 is kept of the second case 30, and a second pivotal member 52 which is arranged between the antenna member 40 and the first pivotal member 51, pivots while engaged with the first pivotal member 51, and is equipped with a cam 52b that pushes the antenna member 40 to pivot so as to be put in the protruding state by a prescribed pivotal operation of putting the portable terminal in the open state.
