<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection lens for a vehicle headlight obtained by improving the quality produced by injection molding using a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In the projection lens 10 for the vehicle headlight in which light from a light source unit equipped with at least one semiconductor light-emitting element is focused and the focused light is irradiated toward the front in the light irradiation direction, the projection lens is molded by the injection molding from a thermoplastic resin having transparency, and the projection lens 10 is composed so that a gate cut part 14 obtained by a plane cut is arranged in the vicinity of the vertex of a convex part of the light-emitting face of this projection lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
