PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new assaying technology for fractionating and determining mRNA that encodes a transporter in a rat, and to provide a primer pair and a probe therefor. SOLUTION: The probe that is used for assaying an mRNA that encodes a transporter in a rat includes an oligonucleotide hybridized with a specific domain of a gene. The kit for assaying an mRNA encoding a transporter in a rat is selected from among a combination of the probe and a primer pair of a forward primer and a reverse primer including an oligonucleotide hybridized with a specific domain of a gene.
