A plasma display apparatus is provided to uniformize the distribution of a wall charge inside a cell for preventing the mis-discharge by improving a ramp down signal supplied to a scan electrode in a set down period of a reset period. A plasma display device includes a front substrate, a scan electrode and a sustain electrode. The scan electrode and the sustain electrode are arranged in the front substrate in parallel. A ramp-up signal to increase a voltage gradually is supplied to the scan electrode in a reset period of at least one sub field among a plurality of sub fields included in an image frame. After suppling the ramp up signal, a first ramp down signal to decrease the voltage from a first voltage between the maximum voltage of the ramp up signal and the voltage of the ground level to a second voltage lower than the voltage of the ground level is supplied. After suppling the first ramp down signal, a second ramp down signal to decrease the voltage from a third voltage between the second voltage and the voltage of the ground level to a fourth voltage lower than the second voltage is supplied. |
