PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that can form images having excellent bend resistance and scratch resistance even in forming images on thick paper as a recording medium.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic charge image development has a sea-island structure having a sea part including a binder resin and island parts including a mold release agent, and has toner particles having at least two maximum values of a distribution of the degrees of maldistribution of the island parts represented by the following formula (1): the degree of maldistribution B=2d/D, in which D represents the equivalent circle diameter (μm) of the toner in observation of the cross section of the toner; d represents the distance (μm) from the center of gravity of the toner to the center of gravity of the island parts including the mold release agent in the observation of the cross section of the toner.SELECTED DRAWING: None
