PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve information security by preventing improper print output by determining whether a printer can perform printing by a terminal device.SOLUTION: A printer management system 1 includes a business terminal 10 and an administrative server 20. The business terminal 10 acquires printer unique information from a connected printer 30 to transmit it to the administrative server 20, receives an encryption key created with a prescribed method by using the printer unique information to store it, converts the printer unique information by using the encryption key to store it. The business terminal 10 acquires the printer unique information of the printer 30 to convert it by using the encryption key when any printer 30 is connected, compares it with the converted printer unique information stored in advance, and permits print job generation processing to the connected printer 30 when both match each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
