摘要 The present invention relates to a system and a method for transmitting a two-hop prior message for energy efficiency in a wireless body area network (WBAN). The method comprises: a messenger node selection step; and a determination rule based packet transmission step. The messenger node selection step includes: a step of transmitting identification, a location, and remaining energy information; a step of calculating a cost function by receiving the identification, the location, and the energy information; and a step of selecting a sensor node with the lowest cost as a messenger node. The determination rule based packet transmission step comprises: a step of receiving all prior packets through a sensor node of which an energy level is at least 50%, packets whose priority ranking, pre-configured by importance, is middle or high, through a sensor node of which an energy level is at least 25% and less than 50%, and packets whose priority ranking, pre-configured by the importance, is higher than middle, through a sensor node of which an energy level is less than 25%; and a step of allowing a coordinator node to directly transmit a message, when remaining energy of the selected messenger node is lower than a pre-determined threshold value. The purpose of the present invention is to increase a product life span of a network and improve network stability.
