PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell for optical analysis that embodies a complete departure from the traditional concept and a note taken of the viscous elasticity of the sample to make possible plain uniformization of the sample thickness and parallel disposition of a pair of light transmissive plates.SOLUTION: A pair of light cells for optical analysis 100 equipped with transmissive plates 10 that hold a sample X having a prescribed level of viscous elasticity between mutually opposing inward faces 10a has a distance setting member 20 having a pair of opposing faces 21a and 22a so disposed as to have a prescribed distance between them, and is so configured that working of the elastic force of the sample X on each light transmissive plate 10 causes an outward face 10b on the opposite side to the inward face 10a in each light transmissive plate 10 to be pressed against each of the opposing faces 21a and 22a to set the distance between the inward faces 10a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
