PURPOSE:To provide information storage media which can be stored for a long time because they minimize the power consumption of a battery built in a response circuit and an issuance equipment which issues such information storage media. CONSTITUTION:Because an operation initiating line 34 is connected to a response circuit 3 when the circuit 3 is in storage state, inputs to an inverter INV are on a low level and a transistor Tr is shut off. Where the response circuit 3 is used, a punch equipment constructed in an issuance equipment punches punch holes 36 and then the operation initiating line 34 is cut. Therefore, inputs to the inverter INV rise to a higher level and electricity is conducted through the transistor Tr to cause the operation of the responce circuit 3 to start. Because the power consumption of the response circuit 3 is about 0.1muA before the punch holes 36 are punched, battery consumption during storage can be minimized so that the battery can be stored for a long time. |
