PURPOSE:To save the man-hours and to shorten the inspecting time in preparation work for the disassembling and the like of many parts, which are attached to the upper part of a CRD housing by sealing water in the gap between the housing for a control-rod driving mechanism (CRD) and a stab tube. CONSTITUTION:In a water sealing mechanism 16, an evacuating hole 29a and a water feeding and draining hole 29b are provided. Air is extracted through the gap between a CRD housing and a stab tube 3 and the inside, which is sealed with the water sealing mechanism. The air is replaced with water. The water is drained. Such a structure is provided. When the stab tube 3 is inspected under the state wherein the inside of the CRD housing 2 is filled with the water, the water is sealed in the gap between the CRD housing 2 and the stab tube 3 with the water sealing mechanism. Thus, the ultrasonic waves oscillated with contactors 13 and 14 are propagated into the facing CRD housing and also propagated into the stab tube 3 through the wate in the gap. In this way, the stab tube 3 and a welded part 4 can be inspected. |
