A weapon and its ammunition which can be carried by one man comprises a stand provided with an aiming device for orientating a movable support 8 of the stand. Launching tubes in the form of at least one packing case 9 are mountable on the support and projectiles housed in the tubes can be launched directly from the launching tubes of the or each packing case when mounted on the support. In the constructicn shown the aiming device includes a water level 5, an optical aiming device 6 and a device 7 for tilting the support 8 to vary the range and is locked on an axis 3 of legs 1, 2 by a device 4. In a modification (Figs. 4, 5, not shown) manually operated devices are provided for elevation and training and an electric plug is provided on the movable support, the plug forming the means locking the packing case to the support 8. The legs are provided with shoes and ground pegs. The launching tubes are glued in position and electrical primers are mounted therein (Fig. 7, not shown). The projectiles may be fired consecutively, a selection wheel together with an ignition button being housed in a manual control means for this purpose.
