PURPOSE:To improve deterioration in the rectangular hysteresis loop characteristic of a demagnetization curve occurring in the case where Fe content exceeds 15wt.% and to obtain a highly efficient magnet where the resulting Br potential can be sufficiently reflected on the maximum energy product. CONSTITUTION:This material is a permanent magnet material having a composition consisting of, by weight, 23-28% R where R means the combination of one or >=2 kinds among the rare earth elements with priority given to Sm), 4-9% Cu, 15-20% Fe, 2-5% Zr, 0.005-0.050% B, and the balance Co with inevitable impurities. This material is characterized by having a composition practically uniform in the crystalline grains and over the whole region of crystalline grain boundaries. |
